Eligibility & Qualifications:

Education: Graduate (any discipline) with a Diploma in Gemology OR a Graduate degree in Gemology.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the jewelry industry.
Location: Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Key Skills Required:

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of loose stones (precious and semi-precious) and finished jewelry.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately identify, grade, and authenticate gemstones.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively advise clients and coordinate with the team.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough identification and grading of loose diamonds and colored gemstones using standard gemological equipment.
Inspect finished jewelry pieces to verify the quality and authenticity of stones and settings.
Prepare detailed and accurate gemstone reports and valuations.
Assist in procurement by evaluating potential purchases and negotiating with suppliers.
Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams regarding gemstone quality and characteristics.
Stay updated on market trends and pricing for various gemstones.
