General Accountant (Immediate Hiring)

Location: Dubai Internet City, Dubai, UAE

Experience: Minimum 4-5 years

Salary Range: AED 6,000 – AED 7,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our team in Dubai Internet City. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, hands-on experience with financial reporting, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and post monthly journal entries and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with local regulations.
Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and ensure timely filing with UAE tax authorities.
Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions, if applicable.
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE/GCC region.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and general accounting standards.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
