Graphic Designer / Marketing Executive

Job Summary:

This is a dual-role position combining creative visual design with strategic marketing execution. The Graphic Designer / Marketing Executive is responsible for creating compelling visual content that communicates the brand message across various channels while also assisting in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design (50%):

Create engaging graphics for digital platforms, including social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, and digital ads.
Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, business cards, event signage, and product packaging.
Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize visuals for campaigns based on project requirements.
Edit and retouch photos and create short video content for marketing use.

Marketing (50%):

Assist in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (social media, email, content).
Manage the content calendar for social media platforms, scheduling posts and engaging with the audience.
Write and edit copy for marketing materials, blog posts, and website content, ensuring alignment with brand voice.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, or trade shows.
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns (e.g., social media analytics, email open rates) and suggest optimizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications, or a related field.
Design Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva is a plus.
Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing channels (social media, email), and content strategy.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work across both print and digital media.
Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Tech Skills: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and basic HTML/CSS is a bonus.
