Reports To: Salon Manager / Artistic Director

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and customer-focused Hairdresser to join our prestigious salon. The successful candidate will be an expert in all aspects of hairdressing, from precision cutting and coloring to advanced styling and treatments. You will create beautiful, personalized looks for our diverse clientele, ensuring every guest leaves feeling confident and delighted.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Services & Consultation:
Conduct in-depth consultations to assess hair condition, understand client desires, and provide expert recommendations.
Perform a full range of hairdressing services: precision haircuts (men, women, children), blow-drys, styling (braiding, updos), coloring (full color, highlights, balayage, color correction), and chemical treatments (straightening, perms).
Administer professional hair treatments (keratin, hydration, repair).
Technical Expertise & Trend Awareness:
Demonstrate mastery in cutting techniques (graduation, layering, texturizing) and modern coloring methods.
Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry products (e.g., L'Oréal, Wella, Schwarzkopf).
Provide expert advice on hair care, styling, and maintenance routines.
Client Relationship & Sales:
Build a loyal clientele through exceptional service, trust, and consistent results.
Recommend and sell retail hair care products suited to individual client needs.
Ensure a luxurious and comfortable client experience from start to finish.
Salon Standards & Teamwork:
Maintain impeccable hygiene standards; sanitize tools and workstations after each client.
Accurately record formulas, techniques, and client preferences.
Collaborate positively with salon team members, assistants, and colorists.
Contribute to a positive, energetic, and professional salon atmosphere.
Operational Duties:
Manage appointment book efficiently, respecting time schedules.
Assist in general salon upkeep and stock management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Hairdresser/Stylist, with a verifiable portfolio and client references.
Comprehensive experience in cutting, styling, coloring (including correction), and hair treatments.
Strong knowledge of hair types, textures, and chemical processes.
Excellent communication and consultative skills with a warm, engaging personality.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak times, as required by the salon.
A relevant hairdressing qualification/certification from a recognized institution is essential.
