Position Overview

We are seeking five (5) diligent and experienced Junior Store Keepers to join our dynamic team on a major Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will be responsible for the efficient receiving, storing, and issuing of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of project logistics and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, equipment, and tools against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Storage & Organization: Store items in an organized and systematic manner in designated locations, ensuring easy access and identification.
Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.
Issuance & Dispatch: Issue materials, tools, and equipment to authorized personnel against approved requisition slips and material requests.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the inventory management system, including data entry of all transactions (receipts, issues, returns).
Housekeeping & Safety: Ensure the store and warehouse areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times, adhering to all company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
Tool Management: Manage the tool room, including the issuance, return, and maintenance of tools and equipment. Tag and report damaged or faulty items.
Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly stock reports, and assist in stock reconciliation and year-end audits as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role.
Industry Preference: Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A certification in storekeeping, inventory management, or a related field is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Solid understanding of warehouse and inventory control procedures.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a warehouse environment.
Personal Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
