About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and proactive Land Surveyor to join a major, fast-paced road and infrastructure project in the UAE. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, leveraging their in-depth local experience to ensure precise measurement, layout, and compliance, directly contributing to the project's critical path and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all surveying duties for road construction, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.
Conduct topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and cross-section surveys.
Set out and mark alignment, grades, and all construction points using advanced surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Levels, etc.).
Verify and ensure all site work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
Prepare and maintain accurate survey data, reports, sketches, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site foremen to ensure seamless workflow.
Monitor site activities to identify and resolve any discrepancies related to levels or alignment promptly.
Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments.

Mandatory Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on land surveying experience within the UAE.
Proven track record on major road construction and infrastructure projects (e.g., highways, interchanges, utility networks).
Expertise with modern surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS/GNSS - Leica, Trimble, or equivalent).
Proficiency in surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); Arabic is a strong advantage.
Must be able to work under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Valid UAE driving license is essential.
