Role Overview:

A Pharmacist Student Trainee is a pharmacy student undergoing practical training within a clinical or retail pharmacy setting. This role is a supervised, hands-on learning experience designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world pharmacy practice under the direct guidance of a licensed preceptor pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisted Dispensing: Under direct supervision, assist in the dispensing process, including data entry, prescription labeling, and product preparation.
Inventory Support: Help with receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmacy inventory while learning about drug storage requirements.
Patient Interaction: Shadow the pharmacist during patient consultations to learn effective communication and counseling techniques.
Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, managing paperwork, and processing insurance claims to understand the operational aspects of a pharmacy.
Clinical Learning: Participate in medication therapy management discussions, research drug information, and apply therapeutic knowledge to real patient cases.
Compliance: Learn and adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications:

Current enrollment in good standing in a ◼️ Bachelor Degree program in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
◼️ Family Book (or equivalent national ID/civil document) for HR processing.
◼️ Nafiz Account (or equivalent trainee registration, if applicable).
A training contract or agreement between the educational institution and the pharmacy.
