About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Executive to join our growing logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our end-to-end procurement activities, with a specific focus on logistics, warehousing, and supply chain services. This role is crucial in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, reliable vendor partnerships, and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for logistics, warehousing, transportation, and related services.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure service quality and compliance.
Negotiation: Leverage strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts, achieving significant cost savings.
Purchase Order Management: Prepare, process, and track purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
Supplier Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, coordinating deliveries, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with operational schedules.
Inventory Support: Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to support inventory management initiatives and maintain optimal stock levels.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities and vendor documentation are completed accurately and in line with company policies.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a procurement role, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, freight, or supply chain industry.
Driving License: A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for this role.
Skills:
Excellent vendor management and relationship-building skills.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Proficient understanding of purchase order systems and procurement cycles.
Good knowledge of inventory management principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
