Safety and Security Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Safety and Security Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising all on-site safety and security protocols to protect personnel, assets, and client facilities. This role ensures compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations (like SAMA, Civil Defense) and promotes a strong culture of safety and vigilance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the performance of security personnel and guard force operations.
Conduct regular site safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Investigate all security incidents, safety violations, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Develop and deliver safety induction and toolbox talk training for employees and subcontractors.
Manage the site access control system and ensure proper visitor/vehicle screening procedures are followed.
Coordinate with local Civil Defense and other authorities for inspections, permits, and emergency preparedness.
Maintain and test emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.
Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms) and review footage as needed.
Ensure all safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, PPE) is available and in good condition.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Security Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, CPP) are mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in safety and security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within Saudi Arabia.
In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety regulations (Civil Defense, SAMA frameworks) and international best practices (OSHA).
Strong leadership, investigation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
Valid driving license.
