We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Engineering Cost & Estimation Specialist to lead cost estimation activities for heavy equipment and steel structure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical engineering knowledge combined with commercial and costing expertise, preferably within OEM or EPC environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy equipment and steel structure projects
Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Develop and maintain Excel-based cost models and estimation tools
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams
Support bid preparation and tender submissions
Evaluate material, labor, and manufacturing costs
Perform cost-risk analysis and value engineering assessments
Review supplier quotations and technical-commercial proposals
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimation processes

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in engineering cost estimation
Experience in heavy equipment and/or steel structure projects
OEM or EPC background preferred
Bachelor’s or MSc in Structural or Mechanical Engineering
Strong understanding of structural design principles
Experience with FEA and 3D design tools (SolidWorks preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in cross-functional project teams
Advanced proficiency in Excel-based cost models and MS365

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in commercial FEA software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, or FEMAP
Experience in international project environments
