Job Title: Services Senior Specialist (Mechanical)

Reporting To: Maintenance or Operations Manager

Summary: The Services Senior Specialist oversees and coordinates major third-party maintenance service contracts, shutdown planning, and specialized repair campaigns. This role focuses on managing external resources and complex service projects to support the maintenance strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact and coordinator for major mechanical service contracts (e.g., compressor overhaul, turbine inspection, specialized welding).
Develop scope of work, evaluate bids, and manage the performance of external service providers and OEM technicians.
Plan and coordinate logistics, permits, and site access for major service campaigns and planned plant shutdowns/turnarounds.
Ensure all contracted work is performed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Review and approve service reports, method statements, and inspection documentation from vendors.
Liaise between internal maintenance teams and external service providers to ensure seamless execution.
Maintain a registry of qualified service vendors and track their performance.
Provide technical and administrative support for warranty claims on repaired equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with significant experience in contractor management, shutdown planning, or project coordination.
Strong understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing multiple stakeholders.
