Job Purpose:

The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring compliance with employment practices, accommodation, and transportation standards for workers, while also supporting the welfare team in delivering high-quality initiatives. The role involves supervision, training, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to enhance overall worker welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a point of contact for workers regarding welfare concerns, providing guidance and support.
Ensure compliance with worker welfare standards, labor laws, and organizational policies related to accommodation, transportation, and employment practices.
Coordinate with company management and subcontractors to enforce adherence to welfare requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve worker welfare initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to promote welfare practices.
Conduct regular training sessions for team members on welfare standards and best practices.
Stay updated on welfare regulations and industry trends, integrating them into team strategies.
Prepare reports and presentations on team performance, welfare metrics, and compliance status.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Welfare Manager that pertain to welfare and wellbeing.

Registry Assignment:

Manage and maintain the portal registry system within the Workers’ Welfare Department.
Ensure accurate, up-to-date worker information is recorded and safeguarded.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and verify registry data.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive information.
Generate reports and analyze registry data for management review.
Provide training and support to staff for effective use of the portal.
Continuously improve the functionality and efficiency of the registry system.
