Key Responsibilities:
Core HR Functions:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for assigned business units, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, UAE labor law, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
- Support payroll processing by providing accurate data on attendance, leaves, and changes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
E-Commerce & Talent Focus:
- Recruitment: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source candidates (with a focus on digital, marketing, logistics, and tech roles), coordinate interviews, and manage the offer process.
- Performance Management: Facilitate the performance review cycle, guiding managers on goal-setting, feedback, and development plans suited for agile teams.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and execute initiatives to boost engagement, retention, and culture within a often fast-paced and remote/hybrid work setting.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with the UAE Federal Labour Law and relevant free zone regulations.
Requirements (Must-Have):
- Minimum 3-5 years of generalist HR experience, with at least 2 years specifically within an E-commerce, digital retail, or technology company in the UAE.
- In-depth, practical knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processes.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to the rapid pace of an E-commerce business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM).
- Experience with HRIS platforms.
- Understanding of the unique HR challenges in scaling E-commerce operations.
