Job Overview:
A specialized role for a certified professional responsible for the formal inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations to ensure they are safe and compliant with Dutch law (Arbeidsomstandighedenbesluit) and standards (NEN 1010, NEN 3140).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the mandatory initial (ingebruikname) and periodic (periodieke) inspections and tests on electrical installations.
- Conduct visual inspections, earth continuity, insulation resistance, loop impedance, and RCD tests.
- Accurately complete official test reports and certificates, including the Installatieverklaring.
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and potential safety hazards.
- Provide clear recommendations for remedial actions.
- Work in various environments: industrial, commercial, and residential.
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure personal certifications are up-to-date.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant electrical background (MBO-4 level or equivalent).
- A mandatory, recognized certification for Electrical Installation Testing (e.g., a specific "Keuren" qualification from a body like NEN, NCTV, or KIWA).
- Extensive experience in testing and inspecting to NEN 1010 and NEN 3140.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch is essential.
