Electrician with NEN3140 Certificate

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and certified Electrician to join our dynamic team in Middenmeer. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or agricultural/industrial settings. Your certification in NEN 3140 is crucial, as you will ensure that all work not only meets technical specifications but also the highest standards of safety and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, wire, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, control panels, and machinery.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and circuit diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform installation and maintenance work in strict compliance with the Dutch Installatievoorschrift (NEN 1010) and the safety procedures of NEN 3140.
- Act as a "Vakbekwaam Persoon" (VP) or "Voldoende Onderricht Persoon" (VOP) as defined by NEN 3140, taking responsibility for safe working procedures.
- Conduct pre-work risk assessments (Taak Risico Analyse) and implement necessary safety measures (isolating, locking out, tagging out).
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing devices and apply systematic problem-solving techniques.
- Collaborate with other trades, clients, and project supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices or less experienced colleagues on safety protocols and proper techniques.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours logged.
- Stay current with the latest electrical technologies, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A completed MBO-3 or MBO-4 education in Electrotechnics (Eerste Monteur Elektrotechnische Installaties, Monteur Elektrotechnische Systemen, etc.).
- A valid NEN 3140 certificate is mandatory. Additional certifications (e.g., for specific machinery, high-voltage) are a strong advantage.
- Several years of proven experience as a practicing Electrician in the Netherlands.
- Solid, hands-on knowledge of NEN 1010 and the Woningbouwinstallatie or relevant sector-specific installation practices.
- Experience with automation, motor controls, or renewable energy systems is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch.
- Valid driving license (B).
