The Aluminum Fitter / Helper will assist in the installation, fabrication, and fitting of aluminum structures such as doors, windows, curtain walls, partitions, and cladding systems. The role requires hands-on site work, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Assist in installation of aluminum doors, windows, curtain walls, and façade systems.
- Support cutting, drilling, assembling, and fitting aluminum components.
- Read and understand basic shop drawings and installation layouts.
- Measure and mark materials accurately before fabrication or installation.
- Ensure proper alignment and leveling of frames and panels.
- Apply sealants and ensure proper waterproofing procedures.
- Handle glass panels carefully and assist in glazing works.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow supervisor instructions and project timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials at site.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area after completion.
- Identify material defects and report to supervisor.
- Work at heights when required, using proper PPE.
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid site conflicts.
- Ensure quality of finishing meets project standards.
- Support senior fitters during complex installations.
- Follow company policies and HSE guidelines strictly.
- Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines.
