A leading transport and logistics company is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to manage accounting operations and support the company's financial reporting requirements.
💼 Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and financial activities.
- Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage monthly and annual closing processes.
- Review accounting transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare financial information and reports for management.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties when required.
🎓 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- Relevant experience in supervision and account management.
- Strong experience preparing financial statements and financial reports.
- Experience with monthly and annual closing processes.
- Previous experience in the transport and logistics sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to join immediately.
