Job Summary
TAD Logistics Group is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Accountant to join its finance team in JAFZA, Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation, preferably within the UAE logistics, shipping, or service industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Billing & Month-End Closing
- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices.
- Support month-end closing and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Verify billing details against operational records and service agreements.
2. Receipts & Account Reconciliation
- Record customer receipts promptly against the correct invoices.
- Reconcile customer accounts and statements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.
3. Collections & Credit Control
- Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue invoices.
- Resolve billing disputes professionally in coordination with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain effective collection follow-up and improve payment recovery.
4. Reporting
- Prepare daily collection updates.
- Generate weekly and monthly accounts receivable ageing reports.
- Monitor outstanding balances and provide regular collection status reports.
5. Coordination & Customer Relations
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and customers regarding invoices, credit notes, and account-related matters.
- Visit customers for payment collections and account reviews for approximately one week per month.
- Utilize company-provided transportation for customer visits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
- UAE accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or service-based industries is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT invoicing requirements.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Female candidates are preferred for this role.
