Job Summary
We are seeking an Accountant with strong cost accounting experience to analyse production costs, maintain accurate inventory valuations and support profitability improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse manufacturing and product costs.
- Review Bills of Materials (BOM), material consumption and production expenses.
- Perform inventory valuation and stock reconciliations.
- Analyse wastage and investigate cost variances.
- Monitor product margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare costing reports to support pricing, budgeting and management decisions.
- Maintain accurate costing records in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with production, procurement and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, product costing, BOM and cost analysis.
- Experience in inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, wastage and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- CMA / ACCA qualification preferred.
