💼 Overall Experience: 10–12 years

Job Summary

Lead MEP design, technical and materials coordination across projects. Resolve engineering discrepancies, secure consultant and client approvals, and support timely procurement and construction progress.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate MEP drawings with civil, architectural, structural and other building services.
Review drawings, specifications and BOQs to identify discrepancies and missing information.
Resolve technical issues and ensure engineering deliverables meet project specifications.
Manage design, shop drawing and material submissions for consultant and client approval.
Follow up on RFIs, technical queries, review comments and outstanding approvals.
Lead technical discussions and design reviews.
Identify critical equipment and materials early and monitor procurement status.
Track material discrepancies, potential variations, wastage and cost escalation.
Ensure site teams receive approved drawings and materials on time.
Track drawing revisions and assess their impact on procurement, costs and progress.
Report critical technical issues and delays to the MEP Division Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering — mandatory.
10–12 years of overall experience.
At least 8 years in MEP mechanical design, technical coordination, materials and specifications.
Dubai market experience.
Experience in industrial and design-build projects.
Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, Dubai Building Code and applicable UAE authority requirements.
