Job Description:

Understand and troubleshoot issues based on Heavy vehicle workshop requirements in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot PLCs and Loop Controllers from various manufacturers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Eaton,.).
Maintain HMI (Human Machine Interface) terminals for user interaction with controllers.
Participate in the performance testing, commissioning, and startup/running of vehicles.
Work closely with foreman’s, supervisor and engineers to ensure systems are designed and delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
Familiarity with combustion control systems and concepts (e.g., Electric brake system, electronic control modem, Anti-lock Braking System & Coordinator).

Basic Requirements:

Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
2-3years of work experience with PLCs.
Ready to work in waste management environment/vehicles/portable waste compactors.
Knowledge on Hydraulic systems.
Basic knowledge in programming PLCs using ladder logic (LL), function block diagrams (FBD), and other applicable programming languages.
Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP).
Basic knowledge of HMI design and programming.
Basic knowledge of SCADA systems.
Ability to work efficiently in cross functional teams.
