Junior Café Manager (Dubai)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Department: Management / Operations

Reports to: Café Manager / Area Manager

Job Purpose:

To support the overall management of the café, focusing on staff development, daily financial controls, and upholding brand standards to drive profitability and guest loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing all day-to-day operations of the café, including opening/closing procedures.
Support in recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance management of front-line staff.
Manage inventory control, monitor food & beverage costs, and assist with supplier relations.
Analyze sales reports and KPI data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all local municipality regulations (DTCM, Food Safety).
Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and handling VIP guests.
Implement marketing initiatives and local store marketing activities.
Maintain high standards of facility presentation, maintenance, and cleanliness.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3-4 years in the F&B industry, with at least 1-2 years in an assistant management or junior management role.
Solid understanding of P&L statements, cost control, and budgeting.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
Must be proficient in English; fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
