Junior Café Manager (Dubai)

Reports to: Café Manager / Area Manager
Job Purpose:
To support the overall management of the café, focusing on staff development, daily financial controls, and upholding brand standards to drive profitability and guest loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all day-to-day operations of the café, including opening/closing procedures.
- Support in recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance management of front-line staff.
- Manage inventory control, monitor food & beverage costs, and assist with supplier relations.
- Analyze sales reports and KPI data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local municipality regulations (DTCM, Food Safety).
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and handling VIP guests.
- Implement marketing initiatives and local store marketing activities.
- Maintain high standards of facility presentation, maintenance, and cleanliness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-4 years in the F&B industry, with at least 1-2 years in an assistant management or junior management role.
- Solid understanding of P&L statements, cost control, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
- Must be proficient in English; fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
