MEP Engineer (With UAE Experience)

About the Role:

We are a leading MEP company in Dubai seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing MEP systems for construction projects, with specific expertise in local UAE regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Mandatory: Must be currently employed by or have recent experience with an MEP Contracting Company.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on UAE experience in MEP project execution and coordination.
UAE Driving License is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of MEP design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Strong technical knowledge of waterproofing systems is required.
Knowledge of HVAC systems is a significant advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):

Manage and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and other subcontractors.
Review MEP drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with local authorities (DEWA, DM, Trakhees, etc.).
Prepare method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
Oversee quality control, safety standards, and project timelines.
Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot technical issues.
Prepare project reports and documentation as required.
