MEP Engineer (With UAE Experience)

About the Role:
We are a leading MEP company in Dubai seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing MEP systems for construction projects, with specific expertise in local UAE regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Must be currently employed by or have recent experience with an MEP Contracting Company.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on UAE experience in MEP project execution and coordination.
- UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Strong technical knowledge of waterproofing systems is required.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities (Job Description):
- Manage and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and other subcontractors.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with local authorities (DEWA, DM, Trakhees, etc.).
- Prepare method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
- Oversee quality control, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Prepare project reports and documentation as required.
