Middle & High School Mathematics Teacher

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our Middle and High School division. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for mathematics, from foundational algebra and geometry to advanced pre-calculus and calculus, aligning with the American Curriculum (Common Core Standards). You will be responsible for creating a dynamic, inquiry-based learning environment that challenges students to think critically and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous mathematics lessons for grades 6-12.
Develop curriculum materials, assessments, and projects that align with American Common Core Standards and best practices in mathematics education.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technology to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages intellectual risk-taking, collaboration, and respect.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide professional learning communities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, clubs, or student mentoring.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (Master’s degree or teaching certification preferred).
Location: Must be currently based in the UAE.
Curriculum: Proven experience teaching the American Curriculum (Common Core Standards for Mathematics).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience. Prior teaching experience in the UAE/GCC is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong pedagogical knowledge, technological proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
