Job Title: Middle & High School Mathematics Teacher
Job Summary:
The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in math subjects to middle and high school students. The role focuses on building students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum and educational standards
- Teach a range of mathematics topics (e.g., algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, calculus as applicable)
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve performance
- Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, respectful learning environment
- Use technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
- Prepare students for examinations and standardized tests
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Teaching certification/license as required by local regulations
- Strong knowledge of middle and high school math curricula
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way
- Classroom management and organizational skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience in middle or high school settings
- Experience with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms

Working Conditions:
