Job Overview:

The Security Engineer designs, engineers, and oversees the implementation of integrated electronic security systems for high-end commercial, banking, or critical infrastructure projects in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer comprehensive security solutions including Access Control (ACS), CCTV/VSS, Intrusion Detection (IDS), and Perimeter Protection systems.
Develop system architecture diagrams, schematic drawings, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate hardware and software from leading vendors (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Bosch).
Program, configure, and commission integrated security systems.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure designs meet Swiss security standards (e.g., SN, VdS) and client-specific requirements.
Provide technical support to installation teams and conduct system handover/training for end-users.
Stay current with emerging security technologies and Swiss regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Security Technology, or equivalent vocational training (Höhere Fachschule).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably within the Swiss market.
Expert knowledge of security system integration and relevant Swiss norms.
Proficiency with major security system manufacturers’ software.
Strong analytical and client-facing skills.
Fluency in German or French, depending on the region; English is beneficial.
