Waiter / Waitress (Catering)

Salary Range: 2,800 – 3,500 SAR

Job Summary:

The Waiter is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests at catering events. This role is crucial to the guest experience, requiring a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup: Assist in setting up the dining area, including laying tablecloths, setting tables with china, glassware, and silverware.
Guest Service: Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, serve meals and drinks promptly and correctly, and clear tables throughout the event.
Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu items and ingredients to answer guest questions accurately.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other waiters, bartenders, and supervisors to ensure seamless service.
Compliance: Adhere to all hygiene and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Breakdown: Assist in cleaning and breaking down the event space, packing up equipment, and ensuring the venue is left in good condition.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience (1+ years) as a waiter in a hotel, restaurant, or catering company.
Knowledge of basic service techniques and etiquette.
Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
