Welder – TIG & ARC (CS)

Salary Range: KWD 250 – 325 + OT

Job Summary:

The Welder is skilled in performing high-quality welding on Carbon Steel (CS) pipes and structures using TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) processes as per welding procedures and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding operations on carbon steel materials in various positions (1G to 6G) as required.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate parameters based on the WPS.
Prepare weld joints by grinding, cleaning, and beveling as necessary.
Interpret engineering drawings and isometrics to determine weld requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring proper housekeeping.
Perform self-inspection of welds and correct any defects.
Use and maintain welding tools and equipment properly.
Adhere to all safety rules, including the use of appropriate PPE for welding and grinding.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI Certification in Welding or a related trade.
Must possess valid welder performance certifications (e.g., ASME IX, CSWIP) for TIG and ARC on Carbon Steel.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a welder in a heavy industrial environment.
Ability to pass practical welding tests.
