In 1985, a bold new chapter unfolded for Mr. Daniel Lazar and Mrs. Sosamma Lazar, two visionary individuals who dared to dream big. Leaving the familiarity of their homeland behind, they stepped foot in the United Arab Emirates, driven by a relentless passion to create a brighter future for their young family. With faith and determination, they navigated the unknown, embracing the challenges and seizing the vast opportunities that this new land had to offer.
With the increase in number of families arriving in Ajman, from across the world, the Lazars realised the growing need for quality English-language education. Without further hesitation, Madam Sosamma Lazar got to work teaching both expats and locals, initially at their very own home. It was a modest start, but little did they know that their one small school would grow into a network of schools. In 1985, Mr. Daniel Lazar (Founder) and Madam Sosamma Lazar opened the Little Flower Nursery in Ajman under The Lazar Group (TLG) with the tagline, ‘Educators at Heart’, from where they spanned out to a full-fledged school which is flourishing today, as The Royal Academy school, an Indian curriculum school.
