Job Title: Officer – CPU (Central Processing Unit), Operations Group
📍 Location: Mashreq Bank, Qatar
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Officer – CPU to join the Operations Group at Mashreq Bank, Qatar Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling centralized operational processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in day-to-day banking transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify various banking transactions in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Handle account-related documentation, data entry, and system updates with accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth processing of customer requests and transactions.
- Support daily back-office operations and ensure adherence to SLA and compliance standards.
- Review and validate transaction documents, approvals, and authorizations.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure all activities comply with bank policies, AML/KYC, and risk management frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of banking experience, preferably within operations or central processing functions.
- Sound knowledge of core banking systems and transaction processing workflows.
- Strong understanding of banking compliance, AML/KYC, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with banking software systems.
- Accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail are essential.
