Job Purpose
The Front Office Supervisor will be the operational heartbeat of our residential services, ensuring the seamless daily functioning of the front desk and lobby. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a team of front office agents to provide a flawless, personalized, and anticipatory service that exceeds the expectations of our residents, cementing our reputation as the premier address in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and motivate the front office team on a daily basis.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate priorities, resident updates, and VIP arrivals.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
- Assist in performance management, including appraisals and identifying development needs.
2. Resident Experience & Service Excellence:
- Act as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, requests, and concerns, resolving them with efficiency and discretion.
- Personally welcome and assist VIP residents, ensuring their needs are anticipated and met with the utmost care.
- Uphold and enhance all service standards, protocols, and brand guidelines.
- Manage resident check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a personalized and efficient process.
3. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all front desk operations, including shift scheduling, room allocations, and billing.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the property, its amenities, and local attractions to provide expert concierge services.
- Handle all administrative duties, including reporting, billing inquiries, and maintaining accurate resident records.
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area is immaculate and presents the desired luxury aesthetic at all times.
4. Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as a vital communication link between residents and other departments (Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance, Concierge).
- Liaise effectively with the Property Management and Residential Services Manager to report on daily activities, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years in a front office supervisory role within a 5-star hotel or ultra-luxury residential building.
- Education: A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages (especially Arabic, Russian, or Mandarin) are a significant advantage.
