Office Assistant (Ajman)
Position: Office Assistant (Female)
Location: Ajman, UAE
Salary: AED 2,500 per month
Working Hours: 11 hours per day, inclusive of a 1-hour break. (e.g., 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break).
Visa Preference: Candidates with their own valid UAE visa and transferable work permit are highly preferred.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Office Assistant to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Assist with general office administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Handle basic correspondence, such as sorting mail, managing incoming and outgoing emails, and preparing simple documents.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
Documentation and Filing:
- Maintain and organize both physical and digital filing systems.
- Sort, file, and retrieve documents, records, and reports to ensure easy access and information management.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials as needed.
Office Operations:
- Support day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive work environment.
- Monitor and manage office supplies inventory; place orders when necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance as required.
Office Maintenance:
- Maintain the overall cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of the office, pantry, and common areas.
- Ensure meeting rooms are clean and prepared for guests and internal meetings.
- Manage kitchen duties, including ensuring coffee/tea supplies are stocked and dishes are clean.
Candidate Requirements
- Visa Status: Candidates with their own valid and transferable UAE residence visa are highly preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
