To support our dynamic and globally connected team, we are seeking a skilled and proactive Travel Executive to join our in-house travel department.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Executive to manage and facilitate all corporate travel arrangements for our employees. The ideal candidate will be an expert in securing the best travel options, ensuring a seamless and efficient travel experience, and managing all related logistics with precision and a customer-service focus.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Travel Management: Handle the complete lifecycle of corporate travel, from request to completion, including post-travel reconciliation.
- Flight & Hotel Bookings: Expertly research, compare, and book the most efficient and cost-effective flights and hotels that align with company policy and employee comfort.
- Visa & Documentation: Manage the end-to-end visa application process for employees, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Stay updated on international travel regulations and visa requirements.
- Vendor & Portal Management: Efficiently handle relationships with travel vendors (airlines, hotels, car rental services, visa agents) and manage corporate travel portals to secure the best rates and services.
- Travel Itinerary Management: Create, distribute, and manage detailed travel itineraries for employees, including all necessary confirmations, tickets, and contact information.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any travel-related issues, such as flight cancellations, delays, or booking changes, with minimal disruption to the traveler.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all travel bookings comply with the company's travel policy and budget guidelines.
- Cost Management: Monitor travel expenses, seek cost-saving opportunities, and prepare regular reports on travel spending.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of proven experience as a Travel Executive, Travel Consultant, or in a similar corporate travel role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre, as well as corporate travel booking tools and portals.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international travel processes, including visa procedures for various countries, airline and hotel booking systems, and travel industry trends.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple travel requests simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Interpersonal Skills: A customer-centric approach with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
