Chef de Partie
Position: Chef de Partie (Section Chef)
Report to: Sous Chef & Head Chef
Salary: AED 4,500 per month
Joining: Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and reliable Chef de Partie to take full responsibility for a specific section of our kitchen. You will be the expert in your station, whether it's meat, fish, sauce, or vegetable, ensuring all dishes are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in producing high-quality European, Mediterranean, or American dishes and will play a key role in mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Section Leadership: Take full ownership and responsibility for your section, including its preparation, service, and cleanup.
- Menu Execution: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the exact specifications of the Head Chef, maintaining consistency and high standards.
- Supervision & Training: Supervise, guide, and train the Demi Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs in your section.
- Ordering & Stock Control: Manage inventory for your section, including placing orders, receiving deliveries, and ensuring correct storage to minimize waste and control costs.
- Quality & Consistency: Conduct daily checks to ensure all ingredients and prepared items meet quality standards before service.
- Innovation: Contribute ideas for new dishes, specials, and menu development based on your culinary expertise.
- Kitchen Management: Uphold all kitchen policies, procedures, and standards, particularly those relating to health, safety, and sanitation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar Chef de Partie role within a high-volume, quality-focused restaurant or hotel.
- Demonstrable expertise and a strong portfolio of skills in European, Mediterranean, or American cuisine.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage orders, control stock, and manage time effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP and food safety management.
- Creative, proactive, and able to solve problems quickly during service.
- Available to join immediately or at short notice.
