Vice Principal (AED 7,500)
Job Summary:
The Vice Principal is a key member of the school's leadership team, responsible for assisting the Principal in the overall administration of the school. This role focuses on fostering a positive, safe, and productive learning environment, overseeing academic programs, managing student discipline, and supporting faculty development to ensure the school's educational goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Leadership: Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating the school's curriculum and instructional programs. Observe classroom teaching and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Student Discipline and Welfare: Manage student behavior and discipline in accordance with school policies. Address and resolve student issues, including attendance and academic performance concerns. Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and support staff. Assist in the recruitment, training, and professional development of faculty.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee the daily operations of the school in the Principal's absence. Manage student scheduling, class assignments, and school events. Help prepare reports for the school board and regulatory bodies.
- Parent and Community Relations: Serve as a point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and fostering strong, collaborative relationships between the school and the community.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification and administrative credential.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
