Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and skilled Marble Polishers to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for polishing, grinding, and maintaining marble, granite, and other stone surfaces to a high-quality finish, primarily in prestigious hotel and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities
- Perform polishing, grinding, honing, and crystallizing of marble, granite, and other natural stone surfaces.
- Operate and maintain various marble polishing machines, including single-disc, multi-disc, and high-speed burnishers.
- Select and use appropriate polishing pads, diamonds, abrasives, and chemical sealants for different types of stone and desired finishes.
- Identify and rectify surface imperfections such as scratches, stains, and etches.
- Carry out daily maintenance and cleaning of marble floors in large commercial areas.
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to complete tasks efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in marble and granite polishing.
- Proven experience working on large-scale projects, preferably in hotels or commercial buildings.
- GCC experience is highly preferred and will be given priority.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle heavy machinery and work on knees for extended periods.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of different types of marble, granite, and stone materials.
- Machinery Proficiency: Strong practical knowledge of operating and maintaining marble polishing machines, grinders, and floor buffers.
- Materials Knowledge: Good understanding of the application and use of various polishing pads, diamond abrasives, powders, and chemical sealants.
- Quality Focus: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering a flawless, high-gloss finish.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
