WordPress Intern (Onsite)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced WordPress Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role for someone who already has practical experience building and managing WordPress websites using Elementor and is eager to apply their skills in a professional, fast-paced environment. You will work directly with our marketing and development teams to create, optimize, and maintain high-performing websites and landing pages that drive business goals.
This is not an entry-level training position. Demonstrable prior experience is a strict requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Elementor Page Building: Design, build, and update responsive web pages and landing pages using Elementor Pro, adhering to brand guidelines and project briefs.
- Website Management: Assist in the maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of existing WordPress websites (themes, plugins, core updates).
- HubSpot CRM Integration: Utilize basic knowledge of HubSpot CRM to create simple integrated forms, track user interactions, and support lead generation efforts.
- UX/UI Implementation: Apply your understanding of responsive design principles to ensure all web pages provide an optimal user experience across all device types (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Basic On-Page SEO: Implement fundamental on-page SEO best practices, including meta tag optimization, header structuring, image optimization (alt text, file names), and URL structuring under guidance.
- AI Tool Awareness: Use and experiment with modern AI tools and models (e.g., for content ideation, basic copy variations, image generation/editing, or workflow automation) to enhance efficiency and output in the digital workflow.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and developers to bring projects from concept to launch.
- Quality Assurance: Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistency and functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Portfolio is Required: You must provide a live link or detailed portfolio showcasing WordPress websites/pages you have built using Elementor. (Personal projects, freelance work, or prior internship work are acceptable).
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong, practical experience with WordPress CMS and the Elementor page builder.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles and how to implement them in Elementor.
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS (ability to troubleshoot and make custom adjustments using Elementor's custom CSS or theme options).
- Platform Exposure:
- Hands-on exposure to HubSpot CRM (form creation, list management, workflow understanding) is a significant advantage.
- Digital Marketing Basics:
- Clear understanding of basic on-page SEO techniques.
- Awareness of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles for landing pages.
- Modern Workflow Aptitude:
- Curiosity about and awareness of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.) and their application in content creation, design, and development tasks.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions while also working independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
