Masons
- Basic Salary: SR 1100 – 1200 per month + Overtime (OT). Salary may vary based on specific skill (Block, Plaster, Tile).
- Role & Responsibilities:
- Block / Brick Masons: Lay concrete blocks or bricks to construct walls, partitions, and other structures. Use mortar, levels, and plumb lines to ensure straight, level, and aligned work. Follow architectural plans for layout.
- Plasterers: Apply plaster coats to interior and exterior walls and ceilings to create a smooth or textured finish. Mix plaster materials, prepare surfaces, and use trowels to apply and finish plaster. May also install plasterboard (drywall).
- Tile Setters (Tilers): Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, and mosaic tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces. Prepare substrates, apply adhesive, set tiles with proper alignment and spacing, and perform grouting and cleaning.
- General Requirements for Masons:
- Proven experience in the specific masonry trade (blockwork, plastering, or tiling).
- Knowledge of materials, mixing ratios, and techniques relevant to the trade.
- Ability to produce neat, precise, and durable work.
- For Tilers: Proficiency in cutting tiles and creating patterns. An eye for detail is critical.
General Conditions for All Positions:
- Overtime (OT): Paid as per local labor law, typically at 1.5x the hourly rate.
- Accommodation & Transportation: Usually provided by the employer (confirm specific contract details).
- Work Hours: Typically 8-10 hours per day, 6 days a week, subject to project requirements.
- Probation Period: As per contract.
- Benefits: As per Saudi Labor Law and individual employment contract (may include medical insurance, annual leave, and end-of-service benefits).
