The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The role ensures proper stock handling, organization, and compliance with warehouse procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Issuing
- Receive materials and verify quantities against delivery notes
- Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies
- Issue materials as per approved requests
- Maintain proper documentation for all transactions
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate stock records in manual or digital systems
- Conduct periodic stock checks
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials
- Assist in inventory reconciliation activities
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the store area
- Ensure materials are stored according to company standards
- Support unloading and loading activities when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of storekeeping experience
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel / inventory systems)
- Basic spoken and written English
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
