Job Title: Heavy and Light Vehicle Driver
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Heavy and Light Vehicle Driver to safely operate company vehicles for transportation of goods and/or passengers. The candidate must follow traffic regulations, ensure vehicle maintenance, and deliver excellent service with a focus on safety and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, trailers) and light vehicles (cars, vans)
- Transport goods, materials, or passengers to assigned destinations
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety guidelines
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Load and unload goods when required
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips (fuel, brakes, tires, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of vehicles
- Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain logbooks, trip records, and delivery documents
- Ensure all required permits, licenses, and documents are valid
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driving license for both heavy and light vehicles
- Proven experience as a driver (commercial driving preferred)
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes
- Ability to handle long-distance and flexible working hours
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication and time management skills
Educational Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent (preferred)
