Job Summary:
The Regional Energy & Geoscience Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing energy and geoscience projects across multiple locations within the region. This role ensures technical excellence, strategic alignment, and effective program delivery while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage regional energy and geoscience programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
- Develop strategic plans and objectives for energy, geological, and geoscience projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and field staff
- Ensure compliance with international and local regulations, standards, and safety requirements
- Monitor program progress, performance metrics, and financials; prepare reports for senior management
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and financial risks
- Maintain relationships with clients, partners, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for project designs, fieldwork, and data analysis
- Evaluate emerging technologies, innovations, and market trends in energy and geoscience sectors
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and professional development for regional teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, Energy, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in energy, geoscience, or resource management programs
- Proven experience managing multi-location or regional programs
- Strong understanding of geological, energy, and environmental regulations and standards in the UAE/GCC
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and geoscience tools
