Overview
A Logistics & Ordering Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of goods, including procurement, order processing, inventory control, transportation, and delivery. The role ensures that materials and products are ordered, stored, and delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full order cycle from purchase request to final delivery
- Coordinate procurement of goods, materials, and supplies from vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability
- Plan and oversee transportation, shipping, and distribution activities
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to clients or project sites
- Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers for cost efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, finance, and operations teams
- Resolve delays, shortages, or delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and import/export regulations (if applicable)
