A Heavy Duty Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers over long or short distances using large buses, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to traffic regulations and schedules.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty buses safely and efficiently
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the journey
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus
- Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, or special needs
- Handle emergencies or unexpected situations calmly
