📌 Role Overview
A Store Helper in a food store assists in receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing food items. The role ensures proper stock handling, hygiene, and smooth daily store operations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload food deliveries from suppliers
- Check items for quality, quantity, and expiry dates
- Store goods properly (dry, refrigerated, or frozen storage)
- Arrange and organize stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
- Assist in issuing items to kitchen or departments as per request
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store area
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages
- Label and record incoming and outgoing items
- Follow food safety and storage standards
- Assist in stock counting and inventory checks
