🛠️ Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced PVC Welding Technician / PVC Welder with strong hands-on experience in PVC welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and installation.
The ideal candidate must be a genuine professional tradesman who can work independently and consistently produce high-quality, precise, strong, and durable PVC welds.
Candidates should have practical knowledge of PVC welding equipment, material preparation, measurements, alignment, fitting, welding techniques, and quality control.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional welding and fusion of PVC pipes, fittings, sheets, and other PVC components.
- Prepare, cut, clean, measure, align, and position PVC materials before welding.
- Operate PVC welding machines, heating tools, and related equipment safely.
- Set and control appropriate temperature, pressure, heating time, and welding parameters.
- Ensure welded joints are strong, uniform, clean, and free from defects.
- Read and follow technical drawings, measurements, specifications, and installation instructions.
- Assemble and fit PVC pipes, fittings, elbows, reducers, joints, and other components.
- Inspect completed welds and identify imperfections or potential problems.
- Perform repairs and corrections when required.
- Maintain and properly use welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
👷 Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a PVC Welder / PVC Welding Technician.
- Strong practical knowledge of PVC welding and fusion techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of measurements, alignment, cutting, fitting, and welding procedures.
- Experience using professional PVC welding equipment and tools.
- Experience in pipework, industrial installations, construction, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Reliable, responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work on-site and in different working conditions.
