Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Arabic-Speaking Accountant – Accounts Payable to manage and support accounts payable and general accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, payment processing, and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable activities.
- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices and supporting documents.
- Ensure invoices are accurately recorded and properly authorized.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and vendor accounts.
- Perform regular account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable aging and outstanding invoices.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
- Support internal and external audits when required.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Male candidates only.
- Arabic-speaking candidates only.
- Relevant experience in Accounts Payable / General Accounting.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience in invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
Salary
AED 7,000 per month
