Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved requests.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment when required.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and stock reconciliation.
- Properly arrange and store materials to ensure easy identification and access.
- Maintain all store-related documentation, including GRNs, material issue notes, and stock reports.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of road and infrastructure materials.
- Update inventory records using MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and project teams regarding material requirements.
- Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report them to management.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store/warehouse.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with road and infrastructure materials is preferred.
- Good knowledge of material receiving, issuing, inventory control, and stock reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/inventory management systems.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction project environment.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
