Job Summary
Prepare accurate, competitive estimates, quotations and tender submissions for interior fit-out and construction projects. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and project teams to assess costs and clarify requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and project scope.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates for materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors and preliminaries.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare commercial proposals, cost comparisons and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, sales, project and site teams.
- Identify discrepancies, exclusions, assumptions, risks and value-engineering opportunities.
- Maintain updated supplier, subcontractor and material rates.
- Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings and commercial negotiations.
- Support tender clarifications, revisions and project handover.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
- Relevant experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in fit-out or construction.
- Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, MEP works, joinery and installation methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to meet tender deadlines.
- UAE experience preferred.
Added Advantages
- Commercial, residential, hospitality or office fit-out experience.
- Knowledge of UAE suppliers, subcontractors and market rates.
- Familiarity with contracts, variations, claims and value engineering.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
